sakonnet vineyards groom receive final instructions under a tree

These photographs were made at the Sakonnet Vineyards in Rhode Island. The officiant was giving instructions to the groom and his groomsmen and I decided to step away and use my wide angle lens to capture the entire scene. I started shooting up close, but I try to shoot every situation from a hundred angles is I have time so I started to back up and saw the scene above open in front of me. I always bring a wide angle lens with me and this is exactly the reason why.

It was a true New England spring day with that early season electric green grass and dandelions that had gone by all over the lawn. It was overcast, but for me that just softened the light and allowed for some beautiful photographs.
Here are some over wedding photography and planning related sites that I found for you to browse. Thanks for visiting Mark Andrew Photography!
